For almost 60 years, we have been manufacturing quality farm equipment, but we wouldn’t be where we are today without the hard work of our founder, Wilbur Remlinger. Wilbur truly cared about helping farmers in every way he could. By talking and learning from local farmers, he started building harrows with the philosophy of producing quality harrow attachments at a fair price. What many people may not know is that Wilbur was also involved in a hay and straw business, hauling fruit, and selling winches for semis.
His contributions to the ag industry were acknowledged on Saturday as Wilbur Remlinger was inducted into the Putnam County Ag Hall of Fame. We look forward to continuing his legacy for years to come!
Accepting the award on Wilbur’s behalf are his children Judy Newell, Ann Warnecke, John Remlinger (current Remlinger Chairman of the Board), Linda Hovest, and Jane Schulte. Additional family members were also present.
